SST goals for 2022

One piece of advice for myself this year is….
To make sure I bring everything I need to every lesson.
One thing I was proud of from last year is…
That I got some excellence's in SST.
My main focus this term is to…
Try my best and hopefully get some excellence's.
When I need help I know to…
Ask my teacher or friends.
At the end of this term, I want to be able to say that I achieved my goal of…
 Getting at least one excellence.
These are my action steps to help me get there…
I’m going to always complete tasks to my best ability, always attend class, always try my best, be on time with everything I need, if I am away, I'll do the work I need to at home, ask whaea Narelle if I need anything and always bring my Chromebook fully charged.

Human Rights.

In this video I am screencastifying. I am describing some images I have gathered that I think represent some human rights, that every living person on this earth has. Each image has its own meaning and they are all as important as each other. I haven't got an image for every human right, but that doesn't mean they have less meaning.

Consumers.

The five kingdoms are Bacteria, Protoctista, Fungi, Plants, Animals. The main Phyla for animals is Chordata, which is vertebrate animals. The types of consumers are carnivores (meat eaters), herbivores (plant eaters) and omnivores (eats both meat and plants). An example for each of these, Carnivores: Hawk, Herbivore: Horse, and an Omnivore: Human.

I’m writing about dolphins.

Dolphins are very intelligent animals, they have adapted well to living in the sea by having fins, a blowhole, their eyes have adapted to seeing underwater and many other things. Dolphins are one of the top predators in the sea with very few predators of their own. Their average lifespan in the wild is 30-50 years, and their average lifespan in captivity is only 28-29 years. The kingdom of a dolphin is animalia (animals), and their phylum is Chordata.

Consumerism video.

the video was about a man who, always wanted the newest "thing". As he kept ordering the newest "thing", he wasn't realising that the outside world was suffering from not only he was doing, but the rest of the world was also causing  the earth to suffer, because of all the rubbish and stuff they were throwing away, it had to go somewhere. Then he actually got up and went outside one day and he saw what he and many others were doing to the world, suddenly everything was falling apart.  Then he woke up, it was all a dream, he quickly ran outside to see the beautiful world as he remembered it.

Maths term 3 reflection.

Kia ora, we have been reflecting upon last term.
This is my reflection and goal setting for maths.
One thing I wish I did differently in Term 3 was ask for help, instead of trying to figure it out myself. One thing I was proud of in Term 3 was how I kept doing work through lock down. My main focus this term is to get ready for the eastle test. When I need help I know to just ask. At the end of this term, I want to be able to say that I achieved my goal of getting merit or excellence in the eastle test.

Human similarities

What Do All Humans Share? We have been learning about culture this term in social studies, and with culture comes humans, in this text I am describing the similarities between humans in every culture. Human beings in the end, are all the same, we all have ears, eyes and so on….. But our qualities are what makes us unique, every person has something different but also every person has something the same, whether it's their eye colour or even just both having eyes. Also all humans experience feelings, like when you kick your toe it’s instant pain, and when people are in pain they usually display some sort of discomfort, whether that be crying or just leaning down and grabbing their toe. But emotional pain is different, if someone you loved died the normal human reaction is to cry for them, and all sane people should have this reaction. But how people behave can be very different. It depends on your childhood influences on how you behave as a person. If you grew up in a household where the kids made dinner and did the dishes and had good manners and made their beds, it's likely that you would continue to behave that way when you are an adult. But if you grew up in a household where all the kids are lazy and everyone swears and behaves badly, you're likely to carry that on when you develop your own family. Humans have traditions that we have in common, most humans have their own origins, that they believe. We also have anniversaries and other celebrations. There are so many things that the human race has in common, but in some way or another we are all unique.
