My favourite New Zealand town would have to be Opononi, mainly because of of the sand dunning, but also it's a town with heaps of nice people and just everything you need, like a restaurant, a bakery, a four square, a school, and beautiful views. Its also not far away from the nationwide famous Tane Mahuta. Here is one of the views from Opononi.
Hi Amy - Nice to read about Opononi, and to see the photo you put up. I love all our beautiful coastal places -that's why I love to live in Northland. When my kids were young we lived right on the beach on the West Coast of the South island - it was wonderful!
